Help with RideScore and Flash: where to write, and what to include.
Where to write
One address, for both apps and for anything else. Messages sent to it are read and answered by Solitary Labs.
Both apps are still in development. RideScore and Flash have not been released, so for most people there is nothing to troubleshoot yet. The address is the right one for a pre-release build, and it is open today for any other question about the company or its apps.
What to include
Nothing here is required. But a message that includes these is usually resolved on the first reply instead of the third — and the two most often missing are the app version and what was happening at the time.
- Which app — RideScore or Flash.
- Your device and iOS version — for example “iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 26.1”, both from Settings › General › About.
- The app version and build number, printed at the bottom of the app's own settings screen, under About, in the form 0.48.0 (53) — the numbers will be different.
- What happened, and when — the screen you were on, the last thing you tapped, what you expected instead, and roughly what time it was.
- Whether it happens every time or happened once.
- A screenshot or a screen recording, if the problem is something you can see.
- Roughly where, if it concerns a forecast or a recorded ride — the body of water is enough. Please do not send the coordinates of a spot you would rather keep to yourself; they are not needed, and Spot Guard is built so we do not hold them.

Messages sent here are read by Solitary Labs. The company is small, and reply times are not guaranteed.
Your account and your data
RideScore is built to be used without an account, and to let you take your data out or delete it from inside the app:
- Export a ride from that trip's screen — the raw sensor archive as a ZIP is free; GPX and CSV are Pro.
- Delete your account from Settings › Delete account › Delete my account and data.
If a control is not doing what it should, or you would rather make the request in writing, email [email protected]. The privacy policy sets out what we hold and what we do not.
Accessibility
If any part of an app is unusable for you — with larger text sizes, with VoiceOver, or with reduced motion turned on — that is a bug and the report is wanted. Name the screen and the setting you use, and it will be treated like any other defect.
What support cannot do
RideScore is a forecast and a record of conditions. It is not a navigation tool, it is not a safety determination, and it cannot tell you whether to go out. Conditions change, forecasts are wrong, and the operator is responsible for the vessel. For warnings and safety information, use the National Weather Service and the US Coast Guard.
